The Shox OZ was released in 3 models, the running shoes-R4, the basketball shoes-BB4, and the cross-training shoes-XTR. The technology works in a very simple way. The columns will absorb the energy from the impact of the heel and then slowly return the energy as man moves. It has the cutting edge using a quite high density columns as the energy absorbers that combine with the TPU heel counter to distribute the energy. The OZ series works better in returning the energy from impact than the Air Max Series. In the OZ series, the R4 shoes have been the most popular and successful shoes. OZ R4 is the only shoe to be released several times in the original series.
